Mick's Roving Reporter Photo Gallery
Welcome
Welcome to my photo gallery, which contains selections of photos covering my visits to various narrow gauge modelling events over the past couple of years or so, showing the best that there is, in terms of narrow gauge model railway excellence.

I hope you enjoy viewing the photos, and look forward to meeting up with many of you at a narrow gauge show in the future.

HOUSEKEEPING TIME!
The collections have been steadily growing since I started this gallery in 2007, and the available space quota has been filling up, so in order to create some headroom for further additions, I have now removed all the collections dated prior to 31 Dec 2007.

The contents of these, and a great deal more, have been incorporated in my newest Roving Reporter Photo CD, Volume 4, which is an illustrated electronic book on CD with photos and written commentaries covering no less than 27 visits to events, meetings and individual layouts during 2006 and 2007. There are nearly 2500 photos of over 200 different layouts!

The CD was released at the 2009 009 Society AGM on 9 May and is now available by mail order. For ordering details, please visit the 009 Society website (there is an access link in the "links" panel on this page) and select the link on the opening page menu to the "Photo Collection CD" page. You do not have to be a member of the Society to access this.

NEW COLLECTIONS:
A new collection recording the 009 Society members day and AGM at Edlington, Doncaster on Saturday 9 May, featuring 10 layouts from the north of England, that I do not normally see at the events that I get to, plus a special bonus of a visit to Rae Bridge, all the way from Holland, part of Ted Polet's superb Craigcorrie & Dunalistair Railway

And another collection recording a memorable visit to the Donegal Railway Heritage Centre and Model Railway Exhibition in Donegal Town over the weekend 23-24 May 2009

Another 009 layout has "arrived" into acceptability" My Roving Reporter railcar rests in the layby siding alongside a much larger one belonging to the directors of Patrick Collins' Wintoncester Water Works
